Website Improvement July 28th 2024

Hello everyone,

What a week this has been. Can't believe how productive we have been as a business and as a company. We have improved the look and feel of our homepage today! It's the first time we've actually leveraged all of our multimedia assets onto a single homepage thus communicating the value proposition of our brand and services more effectively.

This helps showcase our internal investment into internal media production and how it translates to more effective website design and a better looking website overall. We've communicated more, and simplified the website at the same time. That's something that very few website developers achieve in such short time.

Of course, the new design of the website is more complex, and unfortunately on mobile website browsers like safari the recurring videos on the homepage don't auto play due to data saving features for mobile browsers. We have more work to make the mobile version of the website as rich of an experience as desktop.

Mobile versions of a website have limitations. We plan on releasing a mobile app soon. This will address some of the weaknesses in our technology when compared to some of our peers. Despite the stubborn yet painstaking effort we put into mobile design and app development we continue to execute on overall design and media for the 1H' of 2024 and continue to execute on this parallel path into 2H' of 2024 and beyond.

The CEO's vision and focus revolves around creating both a pragmatic brand narrative for Cleaner Alliance visually, but to also communicate that narrative concurrently with an influencer brand. Investing into both an influencer brand, and a corporate YouTube campaign has diverted some resources away from core website development which is why we relish today because we can announce a substantial improvement in the overall look, feel, and function of the website.

When looking back we're going to view this year as the post social media transition where we're keeping up with edgier rivals that leverage video content as a means of customer acquisition.

The same website looks more impressive, and feels more visually rich and stunning. As shown in the before/after developer video below.

Listing off the improvements of the new looking Cleaner Alliance website would be sort of dull or boring. But here goes nothing. The new design leverages more of the visual assets we have created for both the business YouTube channel, and the founders YouTube channel, thus creating a more visually stunning look to the overall website thus increasing the probability of booking housekeeping appointments while communicating even more information!

The new homepage takes up more space, but we figure we should give potential prospects more room to scroll down the main website page to decide whether or not we're qualified as a provider of home services. We also updated the social handles of the entire website to be more accurate and congruent with where we publish, and what information and platforms we're actively managing and monitoring with regards to our website.

This means removing the Yelp page that's mostly empty of information and has zero reviews other than fake anonymous reviews from the website, and also removing a link to a Thumbtack page, which we created a long time ago, but haven't actively used the profile, or provide services through that profile.

Instead in our social section we use graphics and link to the YouTube channel, Twitter/X logo link to our direct X Profile, and NextDoor profile. We actively manage our brand on these three platforms so we only want to provide links to social sites we actively manage and monitor. We plan on adding a social page for Meta branded apps and websites like Facebook and Instagram, and LinkedIn for career minded people as we notify the social platforms of brand infringement related issues from competitors this 2H'2024.

Also, the X profile is still a work in progress, because we still have an imposter using our @cleaneralliance brand, and instead we're stuck with the wrong twitter handle. We've emailed and made numerous submissions but we imagine that given the 90% headcount reduction over the years at Twitter that basic account maintenance and imposter activity management has been overly automated, and thus basic brand impersonation issues that require manual human intervention and moderation to take an agonizing amount of time given the backlog of issues for a website of X/Twitter scale and the lack of manpower there to really do anything.

We also got rid of the "projects" section on the headings section of the website. It was a basic website subpage that just took up space, and was fairly redundant. We wanted to simplify the headings on the website to keep the absolute essential stuff up on top, so people can navigate towards the pages on our website that matter like the homepage, booking, contact, and blog section.

We plan on adding a career elements page, so people can apply on our website for open job positions so we can create a queue for job screening and job interviews. Ironically, we're shorthanded and looking to hire more permanent job positions. Also, we are developing a portal for management of our service contractors as well on our website or a separate contractor app.

We're a fast growing LA start-up on just the second year of incorporating as an LLC, and we have the ability to provide jobs and long-term employment. We're interested in hiring the absolute best people in Southern California and even across the USA!

To scale our business we need to work on our technology infrastructure so we can manage our contractors better, and onboard our local contractor network with greater speed so we can deploy our services at greater scale and achieve higher deliver-ability of service.

Developing a strategy for replicating our expert approach at large scale while maintaining our competitive advantage locally and our authentic service brand and quality is difficult. We continue to explore ways to maintain our service so it's at the highest quality of standards while we increase volume and the number of markets we serve across the USA.

We hope you continue to support our business and services as we scale and expand. Great service is tough to come by, and we hope to live up to the greatest of standards which is why we continue to reinvest into our business, processes, and our people.

Thank you,

Alex Cho
